Sunrise community education centers give children a new start.

We are currently planning a new project “Sunrise community education centers ”. It is  a brand new center of education offering free Vietnamese classes for ethnic minority children, English, computer  and vocational education classes for all children in the village. There are programs for children to learn about self-defense, healthy habits and hygiene, life skills to be empowered and redefine their future. Other villagers, particularly girls and young women can come to improve their basic knowledge about gender equality, birth control methods. Equipped with skills and qualifications, these girls and young women can secure safe and sustainable livelihoods, lifting themselves, their families and their communities out of poverty and breaking a damaging pattern of exclusion. Therefore, it is really urgent to establish a community education center in a remote village.  Through the community library, we hope the children can find out more about the advanced knowledge of the society, change their way of thinking and set their future goals in the right direction. It is expected that many young students and teachers from schools and universities in the local province and from anywhere in Vietnam can be enthusiastically involved in developing this community education center. If these community libraries build partnership with schools in foreign countries such as the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, overseas students can come to visit, to camp and to exchange the cultures.

WE CAN DO IT ONLY WITH YOUR SUPPORT.
